Well, here's where I introduce me.I'm Keri. I have a B.A. in History and an M.A. in Applied History (ooo I r ejimikated). I've worked six seasons with the National Park Service ('98, '01, '03, '05-'07) as a student intern or a seasonal ranger and I love it.
Yeah that's me in the picture: the kid and her happy place. *grin* It was taken October of last year on 0-1 level of USS Cassin Young, the WWII/Cold War era museum destroyer at Boston National Historical Park. What am I standing next to? Torpedo tubes! Mk 14 21" torpedo tubes holding Mk. 15 21" (dummy) torpedos! *grin*
Anyway, military history has been a passion of mine for a long time, as have other eras of history. I am one of those types that will read just about anything.
